How to reach us

Hotel Chiusarelli is located in the Siena city center, inside the ancient city walls, and easily reachable by car or public transportation. It is also close to the main parking lots.
Below are instructions on how to reach us by car, bus, train or plane.

Coming from the NORTH
From Milano/Venezia/Bologna/Firenze & their airports
From the Autostrada A1, take the FIRENZE IMPRUNETA exit, then take the 4 lane motorway Firenze-Siena towards SIENA (South). Arriving in Siena, take the TANGENZIALE (ring road) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from Firenze). Then, follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

From Pisa/Pisa Airport
Take the 4 lane motorway Livorno-Firenze towards FIRENZE (East), and exit at GINESTRA FIORENTINA. Follow the signs to CERBAIA and SAN CASCIANO val di Pesa, and then the signs to "SIENA via SUPERSTRADA (motorway)". At San Casciano, take the 4 lane motorway Firenze-Siena towards SIENA (South). Arriving in Siena, take the TANGENZIALE (ring road) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from San Casciano val di Pesa). Then, follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

Coming from the SOUTH
From Grosseto/Maremma coast/Argentario
In Grosseto, take the 4 lane motorway Grosseto-Siena towards SIENA (North). Arriving in Siena, follow the TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and exit at SIENA OVEST (2nd exit coming from Grosseto). Follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

From Orvieto/Roma & its airports/Napoli
Take the Autostrada A1 towards FIRENZE (North). Exit at VALDICHIANA, and take the 4 lane motorway towards SIENA. Arriving in Siena, follow the TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

From Montalcino/Pienza/Val d'Orcia
Take the SS. 2 "Cassia" towards SIENA (North). Arriving in Siena, at the first traffic light, turn LEFT towards PORTA SAN MARCO, then follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

Coming from EAST
From Cortona/Perugia/Assisi/Umbria region
Take the motorway Perugia-Bettolle towards VALDICHIANA/A1. Near Valdichiana follow the 4 lane motorway to Siena. Arriving in Siena, follow the TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

From Arezzo
Take the Autostrada A1 towards ROMA (South) and exit at VALDICHIANA. Take the 4 lane motorway towards SIENA. Arriving in Siena, follow the TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

From Montepulciano
Follow the signs to SINALUNGA. Once you get there, follow the signs to the 4 lane motorway to Siena, and take it towards SIENA. Arriving in Siena, follow the TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and exit at SIENA OVEST (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Follow the signs to the STADIO (football stadium) and the FORTEZZA (Fortress). Near the stadium, at San Domenico church, the street veers left onto Viale Curtatone. We are on the left-hand side.

Siena is linked to Florence by direct bus (RAPIDA, length 1 h and 15 min.) every hour on weekdays, and every two hours on weekends and holidays.
There are also daily bus links to Roma, Milano, Bologna; Grosseto, Arezzo, San Gimignano and, during the summer, to the nearest beaches, such as Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica.
The central bus station is in Piazza Gramsci, 150 mt. far from our hotel. Once you arrive in Siena, form Piazza Gramsci walk LEFT towards San Domenico Church, and turn right onto Viale Curtatone. After 50 mt., you will find us on the right-hand side.

There are daily trains every hour, from 6.00 AM to 9.00 PM, to Firenze S.M.N. (Central) and Empoli, and a train every two hours to Grosseto and Chiusi/Chianciano Terme.
Coming from Roma Termini (Central) or Orvieto, we suggest you change trains at Chiusi/Chianciano Terme Station.
Coming from the North (Torino Porta Nuova/Milano Centrale/Bologna Centrale/Verona Porta Nuova/Venezia Santa Lucia train stations), we suggest you change trains at Firenze S.M.N. Central station.
Coming from Pisa Centrale or Pisa Airport, we suggest you change trains in Empoli Station.
Siena's train station is outside the city walls. Once you get there, we suggest you take a taxi (call center: +39 0577 49222) or a city bus to PIAZZA GRAMSCI, the central bus station which is 150 mt. far from our Hotel.

The nearest airports are Firenze, Roma Fiumicino and Pisa.
The latter is linked to Siena with a daily direct bus service. Please, visit www.trainspa.it website for times and schedules.

Upon request, our Hotel can also provide a pick-up service with private car and driver.
